I love doing anti-yeast therapy. I see people with complex problems who have often been to many doctors and received only minimal benefit. Then I prescribe anti-yeast therapy and they become better. I find doing this therapy as a doctor so gratifying because I love to see people become better.

Dr. Bruce Semon is a Board Certified Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist. Dr. Semon also studied nutrition and earned a Ph.D. in Nutrition. He has made an extensive study of Homeopathy. He has combined his knowledge of medicine and nutrition to treat difficult-to-treat disorders, some of which are considered untreatable. In particular, Dr. Semon has used his knowledge of nutrition, food chemistry, and the yeast Candida albicans to develop a diet which works extremely well for yeast-related disorders. In addition, Dr. Semon has studied and uses homeopathy in his practice.

Dr. Semon’s Education and Experience

Dr. Semon holds a doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Nutrition from the University of California-Davis. Dr. Semon is also a board certified medical doctor (M.D.) (psychiatry), having graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After receiving his M.D. and Ph.D., Dr. Semon researched for two years at the National Cancer Institute in Maryland. Dr. Semon specialized in child psychiatry. He trained at Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Semon is the Medical Director of Wisconsin Institute of Nutrition. He is the co-author of An Extraordinary Power to Heal, Extraordinary Foods for the Everyday Kitchen, and Feast Without Yeast:4 Stages to Better Health. Dr. Semon is a board certified psychiatrist. He has completed adult psychiatry training and a special fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Semon has been treating adults, adolescents and children for several years for a wide range of medical conditions. Autism

All of Dr. Semon’s patients who have autism who have followed the anti-yeast treatment have improved significantly. Dr. Semon uses a combination of anti-yeast treatment, homeopathy, and where indicated, conventional medication treatment. Conventional Psychiatric Medication Treatment

Dr. Semon is fully trained, as a board certified psychiatrist, to prescribe and supervise conventional psychiatric medication treatment, such as Ritalin, Prozac, and other medications. Dr. Semon’s experience is that many patients improve much more on anti-yeast treatment and homeopathy than by using psychiatric medications. However, he respects a patient’s right to choose their treatment. He does not see conventional psychiatry patients at the Glendale office, but at other clinics.
